[ It can't exactly be said that Artoria and Mash are usually seen together... in fact, even with all things considered, it was a bit of a rare sight. The Alter Servant usually kept to herself or a very specific kind of crowd. That being said, Artoria held an interest in Mash Kyrielight from the first day she was summoned by Chaldea.
She recognized that it was Galahad who had initially granted her abilities as a Demi-Servant, and like other members of her time period, she kept quiet about it. Still, while that did draw her attention, it was Mash herself that kept her eyes transfixed on her Master's precious kouhai. To go into detail would drag things out quite a bit, so let's simply leave it at the fact that, even if others hadn't noticed, she had always kept her eye on the Shield Maiden.
Obviously, she already considered Mash to be one of her knights, whether she openly admitted to it or not. Not that it was surprising, considering certain records of the Shinjuku Pseudo-Singularity, or the acknowledgement from her own fellow knights and alternate selves... particularly her purer, untainted self, who unlike Alter had indeed openly acknowledged the Demi-Servant.
Still, this was truly a chance encounter. Artoria had only just turned the corner and bumped into her, not at all unusual considering the amount of summoned Servants present in Chaldea, but as Artoria had been caught off-guard... she couldn't help but smile.
Whether a smile from the Tyrannical King of Knights was a good thing or not... well, that's up for debate. In any case, she decides to take action and bring about, well... a change, so to speak. ]
I presume our Master is with you as usual?
[ She asks, but she knows the answer. She saw Ritsuka enter the simulator with a team of Servants earlier, and battles with the simulated Embers are expected to take some time. More time than what has passed. ]
